Hi. This is the second time in my 65 year life I have (unfortunately) needed to use the 111 service on a Sunday.
I appreciate that it is perhaps difficult to thank all individuals concerned, but can I convey my considerable thanks to all of them, doctors and nurses alike, for the following.
1. Excellent care and efficiency when first ringing the 111 help line.
2. Very quick response for a referral to hospital for a consultation at Louth Hospital.
3. Just as quick response for a referral to see an eye specialist at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston.
I can not thank you enough for the exceptional service and care I have had on both this and a previous occasion. Thank you all so very much. Wonderful.

About care:
I completed a career in a large organisation (Army) and have always looked for teamwork in other organisations, knowing that this is the key to achievement of the aim. During a week in Marly ward I have seen wonderful teamwork and multi-tasking; nursing, meal serving, the housekeeping team - they all work together to achieve a reassuring atmosphere for patients. Cheerful amongst themselves, they show great patience and compassion and cheerfulness I'm totally admirable, I have been most fortunate
Improvements:
These wonderful people should be paid in a way that recognises their worth - that is to say paid far more.

Staff were kind and helpful and very pleasant. Food was very good but for me there was too much. The variety was good.

The care I received during my stay on Manby was outstanding. The pure knowledge and dedication from the staff is admirable. Bearing in mind the huge demand service users expect from the NHS. Staff are constantly under extreme pressure to provide 100% care, although being short staffed, they are amazing, still provide high standards as promised.
